ChocolateBar (Broker Display)   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
ChocolateBar is a sweet display addon for broker plugins
Basically its a Titan-panel or Fubar replacement.

Any data broker addon you have will be put on a pice of chocolate and together they create a chocolate bar on the top of your screen.

Main Features

* Easy config, simply drag some chocolate and drop points will show. The idea is to easily get rid of a plugin or disable the text. See pics.
* Multiple bars - top or bottom as many as you want.
* Move bars anywhere you want.
* More Chocolate - a broker plugin to show a second bar that will autohide again. Great for launchers or other plugins you don't need visible all the time
* Support for icon colors and coordinates like used by TomTom

Options for:
* Show bars on mouse over only
* Hide bars in combat
* Set a fixed width for any plugin
* Change icon size
* Change textures, colours and a lot more...

Where to get more chocolate?

.)WoWInterface
.)WowAce

Usage

Right click the panel
or type "/cb" to open the options menu.
You can also go to the great Blizz addons menu if you like
windows that cant be moved or resized...

You can get alpha versions from http://www.wowace.com/projects/chocolatebar/files/

You miss a feature or had to much chocolate, please let me know. I look forward to your feedback.

I was messing with Stomped Shear, and ChocolateBar can't turn on or off some of its modules. There's "TCT" and then sub-modules like "TCT Parry" or "TCT Hit". In Button Bin, these show up separately, but in ChocolateBar, they don't seem to.

Ah, okay, that answers both of my questions. I didn't realize that MoreChocolate just toggles other "Chocolate" bars; instead, I thought it was basically a "mini"-LDB launcher that could be used independently. Thanks for the reply!

Having an issue with enabling new launchers, in that I can't enable disabled ones / disable icons or text, etc.

I've tried this with a fresh install a number of times, and eventually the checkboxes for new launchers just stop responding.

Cannot get Chocolate Bar to load since the new update. Installed update in the correct folder, checked addons to make sure the mod is enabled. Error upon login and mod doesn't load.

Edit. Deleted the old files and reinstalled the latest version. Working fine now.

New in 2.0:

Option to move bars anywhere you want.
Option to set the icon size.
Moved options to a separate load on demand module.
Some minor things and bug fixes.

Yes try shuffling strata, just put the bar under the other things you want in the empty spaces.

Or try the latest alpha version, with that you can create 2 or more bars and put them next to each other with some space in between.

I've got a feature request. Would it be possible to put in an option to disable bringing up ChocolateBar's option window whenever the bar is right-clicked? I've got it set to be invisible, so that only the text and icons are displayed, but I want to shove other things inside the empty spaces, and still have them remain right-click accessible.

(Of course, I have already gone in and ripped that functionality out myself, but the number of hand-edited tweaks I do to my .luas every time I update is starting to stack up.)

(edit: The code is a little bit harder to tweak than I expected, can't seem to find the "function dataobj.OnClick(button, click)" I expected ChocolateBar to use, so I am going through line by line until I find what I'm looking for.)

(edit edit: And of course, I find it almost immediately after starting to read through bar.lua. <.<; Doublechecking my code, blatantly obvious details being pointed out would be appreciated. I *don't* think any problems should arise from me modifying line 37 to "then return end" and comment out lines 38 and 39. Here goes nothing. I suspect that the config menu will not pop up, but that ChocolateBar will not be click-through. May futz around with that in a different matter, like shuffling strata, though.)

(edit edit edit: And now I can't drag around any of my plugins. Oh well, at least they still respond when I click THEM. Looks like I just need to make sure they're all in place before I mod the code.)

ChocolateBar supports selecting textures provided by other addons. You probably removed/disabled one of your addons that provided some textures.

The addon SharedMedia provides some textures you will be able to select with ChocolateBar.

You can do that with the latest alpha version from wowace: http://www.wowace.com/addons/chocolatebar/files/

With this version you also can move a bar anywhere you want.
I finally decided to add the options to move bars freely because almost all code I had to add for this went into the options.lua and this will be moved into an load on demand module anyway.
