I've been using this ever since I found it last year, and I can actually turn my General and Trade channels back on because of you. Anyone who wants to complain about the need to update it frequently obviously isn't paying attention to their chat boxes. Thanks While I'm here I would like to request an optional feature of reporting multi-line spammers automatically (like it does with gold spammers). It's quite beyond a joke on some servers as even with the multi-line spam prevention build into this addon it doesn't help much as there's usually a dozen people spamming at the same time making the 5 line buffer rather moot.

I absolutely love this addon! I have been blissfully unaware of gold farmers for quite some time now. But for some reason, the following message made it through:

Great addon, however its consolidation feature falls over on busy servers like Blackrock. To give an example I've copied some trade chat just now:

The above was posted within about 1 second, BR trade chat often whizzes past so fast you cannot read it, and this kind of spam is the cause! The latest version of BadBoy was active when this occurred.

The fix would be to not just compare the current line with the previous line, rather to compare with say the last 5 lines. This would catch a great deal more of this repeat spamming that's going on when it overlaps with other peoples spam.

Hopefully that's not a big nor difficult change!

[edit] Another one is with multi line macros like the below pest who kept spamming (and quickly got added to my ignore list):
