Intro
Hi there. This is my Diablo 3 themed interface for World of Warcraft. Enjoy.
Zorkified
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me. Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
Installation
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder. Save your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder. You may not have the Fonts folder yet, no problem, just ignore it. To do that just copy the folders and put them somewhere else (backup copy).
  2. Now delete your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  3. Download RothUI and save the zip-file to your Desktop.
  4. Copy the folders included in the zip-file into your World of Warcraft folder. (Not your AddOns, your World of Warcraft folder!) The zip-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder.
  5. Start World of Warcraft. If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.
  6. Join a server and have fun
  7. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  8. If the stance/aurabar is in your way just move it. Read all the info pages and the FAQ for more.

Installation (DEUTSCH)
  1. Öffne den World of Warcraft Ordner. Markiere den "Interface" Ordner und kopiere ihn in ein anderes Verzeichnis. (Backup-Kopie)
  2. Jetzt lösche den "Interface" und im World of Warcraft Verzeichnis.
  3. Lade "Roth UI" herunter und speichere die ZIP-Datei auf deinem Desktop.
  4. Entpacke das ZIP. Das ZIP enthält einen "Interface" und einen "Fonts" Ordner. Kopiere beide Ordner in das World of Warcraft Verzeichnis. (Nicht den AddOns-Ordner, das World of Warcraft Verzeichnis!)
  5. Starte World of Warcraft. Falls es während des Kopierens bereits geöffnet war starte es neu um die Texturen zu laden.
  6. Tritt einem Server bei und viel Spaß mit dem UI!
  7. Falls etwas mit der UI-Skalierung nicht stimmt kannst du im Spiel in den Grafikeinstellungen die UI-Skalierung anpassen. Dafür die Checkbox für UI-Skalierung in den Grafikeinstellungen aktivieren und dann den Schieberegler auf die gewünschte Position einstellen.
    Den Chat kann kannst du verschieben indem du über einen Rechtsklick die Einstellungen des Chats aufrufst. Entsperre ihn und dann kannst du ihn an die gewünschte Position verschieben.

Scaling
rBuff, oUF_D3Orbs, rMinimap, jExp, sTooltip, rActionBarStyler can be scaled to your liking. Use UI-scale or use the scaling variable(s) inside the lua files.
Performance Tweaks for Low End Computers
If you are running a low end machine and want to use this UI always make sure your graphic settings are set up correctly and no FPS hungry options are active. Additionally I am using some addons that make use of events that get triggered quite often. You may see an increase in FPS if you disable these addons (in your addons list on your character selection screen):

Tips and Hints
  • Type "/console reloadui" to reload your interface after you changed (and saved) sth. in a *.lua file.
  • Activate the lua error messages in your interface options, otherwise you will get no response if did something wrong.

How is it possible to spawn PartyTargets and/or Arenaframes using the focusstyle ? I know how to spawn the Frame containing the single Units, but how do I "put" the units in this frame ? I tried to create Party targets with

is there any way to turn the cast bars off?
i do like them alot, but everytime i use this UI, the castbar has a red spot in it which doesn't move.

Greycloroed debuff icons on target & weaponbuff icon resize

1. Is it posssible add greycloroed debuff icons on target like here?
It's look like

but have no idea where add it. Can you help me?

player icons gone

Something changed within the last week to where my bottom bars and orbs looks out of place.. when I click on another player I used to get icons all up in the left hand corner those are gone as well...When I am in an instance, I could see all other player in the top left hand side with portraits and those are gone as well..


Any help would be highly appreciated to get this back.

I seem to cant see the pvp panel on minimap sometimes when arena comes i accidentally press escape button and go ffffffffffuuuuuuuuu
is there a way to make it appear or is there a command to manually join arena/bgs?

The change is the bottom part. I've been using this for a while and haven't had any issues. However I don't take responsibility if you melt down your computer.

The icons are sort of small, you may wish to adjust the size or play with them, but for my use they are fine the way they are. Also in the party frame the leader icon will hide the role icon.. again for my uses this was fine.

I hope you add some class icon support to the party frames i really love this interface but i miss those when doing random dungeons

i followed your instructions on how to get rid of the party frames, however, i most likely followed them incorrectly. I've tried several different things in the lua, and sometimes i can get the party frames to go away, but when that happens it also makes the artwork and borders around my action bars and orbs to disappear as well. any ideas?

Roth UI and Carbonite

Hello, I was wondering if its o.k. to use carbonite with roth ui and/or how to disable features that would otherwise cause roth ui to not work properly... I actually added carbonite and now Im missing my icons for myself and party which show on the upper left hand corner. reinstall all of it but if can help before I make the overhaul then that would be awsome. I really like roth ui just gettin carbonite for alt leveling so I can live without carbonite but not roth ui hehe

Let me guess... you used the rightclick-menu to set your focus? that's why, cause it's a bug on blizz side that every unitframe mods out there has this problem... the only thing you can do is to use a macro for setting focus.
